Contraindications to diving
Exclusions from diving for people with disabilities are the same as for people without disabilities
The medical contraindications for diving are like those for people without disabilities - these are primarily heart and respiratory diseases and mental disorders.
The basic requirement for anyone wishing to dive is not to be able to swim, but to have no medical contraindications. If necessary, the instructors teach people to swim and familiarize them with the water environment.
People with spinal cord injuries (paraplegics, tetraplegics), as well as people with cerebral palsy, amputees and other physical dysfunctions, the visually impaired, the deaf can participate in diving training.
Every diver should have a current medical certificate approved by a sports or diving doctor. We will contact you with a physician if you need one.
