The Nautica Association was founded in 1998 in Krakow by a group of befriended divers who were convinced of the idea that the aquatic environment could be fully accessible for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

The history of the Association is closely tied to the Nautica Underwater Tourism Centre in Krak\u00f3w. It is where the idea was born to use the specifics of the aquatic environment to help others, children and people with disabilities, often with difficult personal situations, to find new opportunities for self-realization. This coincided with the establishment of the Nautica Association, which became involved in the implementation of this idea with great commitment, gaining experience through daily work. At that time, all activities in this field were pioneering. Initially, the Association implemented three programmes: \u2018Water Trail\u2019 - swimming lessons for children from orphanages and educational centres; \u2018Silent World\u2019 diving lessons for people with impaired hearing and deaf; and finally \u2018Zero Gravity\u2019 - diving lessons for people with motor disabilities. A compilation of the last two is the programme currently running.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider color=”#FFFFFF” divider_style=”inset” _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”0px||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”0px||0px||false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{%22gcid-3483cca2-7889-4cd9-9424-1846d84f0496%22:%91%22link_text_color%22%93}”]<\/p>\n For over 27 years of uninterrupted activity we have spent almost 1000 hours in the swimming pools, organised 50 training and tourist diving camps in Poland, Croatia, Egypt, as well as many recreational dives.
